Terms & Conditions

Definitions:

Pet Au Pair: specialises in sourcing and placing qualified and experienced Pet Carers for families on a casual, temporary & permanent basis.

Au Pair/Pet Carer means: The person nominated by Pet Au Pair to provide pet services to the Family.

Family/Families/Fur Family/Parents/Owners means: the person(s) who engages with the Pet Au Pair Service to

provide the services in accordance with these Conditions.

Introduction means: the connection by the Pet Au Pair Services to the Family/Owner/Parents or any other information in relation to an Au Pair/Pet Carer.

Permanent Placement means: the placement of an Au Pair/Pet Carer with a Family, or any other person introduced to the Family to provide the Beaches Babysitting Services, for three (3) months or more in any twelve (12) month period

Placement Fee/Finder Fee means: in relation to the placement of an Au Pair/Pet Carer with the Family. Full fees for the following 3 months will be charged if the family wishes to employ a Pet Au Pair carer directly for a period of more than 30 days of service. All services under 30 days will require a flat daily fee of $25 for the services requested/rendered.  

Conditions:

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer must have the required skills and experience to provide the Pet Au Pair Services as needed by the family and has agreed to provide the Services to the family in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions of this Contract.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer agrees not to accept any form of approach from a Family/Fur Family/Parents/Owners where Pet Au Pair has not made the Introduction, or to accept any form of private engagement or inducement to work privately, or to engage in any form of service or category or work, with a Family where Pet Au Pair Service has not made the Introduction, or any other individual or entity associated with or related to the Family.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer shall ensure that the Pet Au Pair Service has made the introduction between the Family and Au Pair/Pet Carer, if the Family is aware, that an unauthorised engagement is commenced with the Family or other individual or entity introduced to the Au Pair/Pet Carer by the Family, that the Family will be liable to pay Pet Au Pair Service’s Finders/Placement fee for each day worked directly to the Services Bank Account within Seven days.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer shall report all rescheduling of bookings, or requests for extra bookings made by the Family, immediately to the Pet Au Pair Service and request that the Family does the same. We encourage all Families to utilise our online booking forms to ensure dates are secured where possible. 

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer shall ensure pet first aid, criminal history check, and any required certifications by Pet Au Pair Service are always up-to-date and current. Pet Au Pair Service reserves the right to notify Families if the Au Pair/Pet Carer certifications and documentation are out of date and offer no further work until certifications and documentation have been validated.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer will inform Pet Au Pair Service immediately if there is a change in status of criminal history.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer understands that Pet Au Pair Services policies, guidelines, standards, expectations, and practices can be changed at any time. The Au Pair/Pet Carer agrees to stay up to date with changes within a reasonable timeframe after a change is made and communicated.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer will not consume alcohol, illegal substances, or other medications that would impair their ability to perform the role.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer shall not admit any other adults in the house while caring for the pet(s) without express written permission from the Family. This permission can be given by text or email.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer must keep confidential, and not reproduce or communicate in any form, any confidential information except as the law requires. The Au Pair/Pet Carer must not remove confidential information from the Services offices or from the Family‘s home or office without consent.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer will not post pictures online on any social media platform or share with people outside the Family, without express written permission.

- On termination of any contract, the Au Pair/Pet Carer must return to the Family or the Service any property including any keys, access cards, or other items provided to the Au Pair/Pet Carer by the Family and or the Service.

- The Au Pair/Pet Carer understands that Pet Au Pair Service may choose to cease Introducing the Au Pair/Pet Carer to Families or offering the Au Pair/Pet Carer engagement opportunities if these terms of the agreement are breached or the Pet Au Pair Service receives feedback about the Au Pair/Pet Carer that does not reflect the standard of performance referenced by referees or falls below the standards as outlined by the Pet Au Pair Service.
